Trojans narrowly defeat Badgers, 2-1 - Bent County Democrat

This week the Las Animas Trojans squared off against a perennially strong opponent that has, in the past, had their number to edge them out of a number of close situations: state playoffs, regional standings to name a few. On Tuesday, the Limon Badgers took the field on Sonny Smith Field to face the Trojans in a must-win situation to maintain the Trojans’ goal of hosting a Regional Tournament.
