Board games of one sort or another have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. The first I recall is Chinese checkers, a game my wonderful Grandma Iverson taught me when I was 7. The Iversons took my education to cards with canasta at age 10. That led to bridge at age 18, freshman year in college. I still play bridge on occasion but have never returned to Chinese checkers.
