Argentine cinema was once again recognized in one of Europe's major festivals. The Argentine director was recognized by The illusion of an endless summer, documentary filmed in the Argentine pampa that also received the Youth Award. At the closing gala, Sanguinetti dedicated some of his words to the situation in Palestine and claimed greater support for Argentine cinema.
