The SNG Opera and Ballet Ljubljana will stage Richard Wagner's opera Tristan und Isolde for the first time on February 5th, as one of the most important works of the Western musical tradition and the pinnacle of European art. The three-act production is the latest work by director Robert Wilson, and according to dramaturge Konrad Kuhn, it is a spiritual journey expressed in music.
