THERE has been widespread sadness following the death of former school principal David Bonner, who taught and inspired generations of pupils across the Omagh area during a career in education spanning more than 40 years. Mr Bonner, who was 96, passed away at Harold McAuley House. His funeral took place on Tuesday at St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher, following a wake at his late residence in Knockmoyle Bungalows.
