A FORMER principal of St Dympna’s Primary School in Dromore was remembered for her determination to secure a new school building during her funeral Mass in Omagh.Josephine ‘Joey’ Murphy, who led the school from 1991 until her retirement, campaigned for a new-build throughout her time as principal. Her efforts were rewarded when the project was announced in 2004, with the new school opening three years later.
