Triangle Islands become part of an international network of Bio-Regions

The islands of the so-called 'Triangle', São Jorge, Pico and Faial, are the first Bio-Region of the Azores, integrating an international network with more than 1,300 regions spread around the world. Membership was formalized on the island of São Jorge, following a partnership between the Association of Triangle Municipalities (AMT) with Trybio and the Regional Government of the Azores.
