Trial of 'White Tiger' online predator begins in Germany

A German juvenile court started the so-called "White Tiger" trial Friday in which a man is accused of multiple sadistic online crimes including coercing a 13-year-old to take his own life.
Under the pseudonym «White Tiger» Shahriar J. on the Internet has manipulated children and young people in such a way that they injured themselves. A boy from the USA even committed suicide. The prosecution accuses the 21-year-old of over 200 crimes.
As the head of an international network, he is said to have forced a boy into suicide. After a fight behind bars, it is obviously unclear whether the trial against »White Tiger« can start as planned.
His victims were young and particularly vulnerable. He, barely older, is said to have persuaded his victims to kill themselves. A 13-year-old died. Now the White Tiger is on trial.
