Today, Wednesday, February 18, at 9:00 a.m., the trial begins in Concepción del Uruguay in the case of “Ruiz Orrico, Juan Enrique s/Aggravated Manslaughter.” The hearings will be held in the courtroom of the Trial and Appeals Court, beginning today and continuing on February 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27. Ruiz Orrico is accused of aggravated manslaughter, a crime punishable by three to six years in prison.
The opening hearing was held at the Court of Trial and Appeals of Gualeguay, where a total of eight days of debate are planned for the prosecution, the defence and the complaints to present evidence and testimonies. Read more
