Trenton’s Locust Hill Cemetery will honor African American veterans of the Civil War Saturday

The lives of African American veterans of the Civil War will gain recognition with a special memorial service Locust Hill Cemetery in Trenton. At least ten Black soldiers lie interred in the small parcel of land at 73 Hart Ave. where a Saturday, May 24 event honors their dedicated fight for freedom.
