The Geophysical Institute of Peru reported on Friday several aftershocks recorded in the Puno and Arequipa regions, in southern Peru, following the 7.2 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale that occurred 35 kilometers north of Coracora, in the Ayacucho region.
Two telluric movements, of magnitudes 3.5 and 3.4, were reported in the southern regions of the country during the early hours of Friday, August 21.
During the last few days, the Geophysical Institute of Peru (GIP) has recorded a series of tremors in various parts of the country, especially in the southern and northern regions following the 7.2 earthquake in Ayacucho that was perceived in different parts of the country.
