The chief executive of Travelodge is expected to meet with MPs today after concerns over a woman sexually assaulted by a man given a keycard to her room by staff.

29-year-old Kyran Smith from Staines was jailed for seven-and-a-half years following the attack in 2022. The company's apologised and has committed to an independent review of its room security policies.
