The state of Rhode Island lifted the travel ban at noon on Tuesday, following the record snowfall caused by Monday’s heavy northeastern storm, Governor Dan McKee announced. McKee offered a press conference on Tuesday morning to announce the lifting of the ban and provide updates on cleaning work.
