A man in his fifties was taken to hospital after a work accident at Koparhella in Hafnarfjörður yesterday. He lost consciousness for a while but was sitting upright and able to speak when police arrived, says Skúli Jónsson, a senior police officer with the Capital Region Police. Skúli says the man fell two meters from a work machine, head first. He had injuries to his face after the fall. No information is available on his condition.
