Transport for London’s 2,000th zero-emission bus has been unveiled at Battersea bus station.
This means two in nine of London’s world-famous red buses have now gone green, which is more than 20% of the entire fleet. The launch, hosted by London Mayor Sir Sadiq Khan, involved a number 337 route bus specially-wrapped for the occasion. Wandsworth council has a goal of becoming a Carbon Neutral Council by 2030 and a Net Zero Borough by 2043.
