Chinese nationals convicted in Madagascar for their involvement in online fraud networks have been transferred to their country of origin to continue serving their sentences.
Madagascar is fighting online fraud cases. More than 200 foreigners have been sentenced for scamming by the Malagasy courts. About 20 of them are nationals of African countries, but most of the convicts come from Asia, especially China.
