- Operational improvements are underway to boost capacity to 1.2 million barrels per day, while the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority plans to dredge Burrard Inlet's Second Narrows starting in September.
- Federal officials plan to eventually sell the pipeline to the private sector, potentially including Indigenous groups as equity holders, as Maki emphasizes the company is "delivering long term value for Canadians.
