“It’s so sad to see our guiding lights go, these people who illuminate our lives,” said Jacques Prince, president of the Quebec Gay Archives. He joins a long list of LGBTQ+ community members mourning the death of Michael Hendricks, a great pioneer of human rights and the “father” of same-sex marriage in Quebec.
