Turkey, Bulgaria and Portugal are still battling large-scale wildfires. Turkey's fourth-largest city, Bursa, in the northwest of the country, where four people died fighting a blaze on Sunday, is also threatened, according to Turkish Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli. Athens said on Monday that there were no other active outbreaks in Greece, but warnings were still in place in some regions.
