On the I/21 road from Cheb to Františkovy Lázně, a pedestrian was hit by a car shortly before 5:00 a.m. on Friday, and subsequently died. The road is closed. Police are directing traffic on the scene and diverting vehicles to a detour route that leads through the village of Střížov.
