Security Tight as EU Defence Ministers to Meet in Wicklow
Ministers will discuss support for Ukraine and maritime security as Gardaí, the Defence Forces and the Irish Aviation Authority tighten controls.

- Minister for Defence Helen McEntee is hosting 27 EU member states to discuss support for Ukraine, Lebanon, and maritime security. McEntee said measures "affect the cost of doing business, the security of our energy supply" and economic stability.
- Attendees will likely address developments in the US war against Iran and the International Criminal Court. The Irish Council for Civil Liberties urged McEntee to protect the court from US-led efforts to "dismantling" it "brick by brick.
