Update: As of 5:53 p.m., traffic is no longer backed up to Lazy Glen on Highway 82. An accident on Highway 82 westbound at mile marker 23 near Old Town Basalt is causing traffic delays during Thursday’s commute, according to a PitkinAlert. As of 5:14 p.m., traffic is reportedly backed up to Lazy Glen. Drivers are asked to use Two Rivers Road as an alternate route. The Aspen Times will provide updates as they become available.
