NEW YORK, NY – The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team delivered an outstanding performance Friday at the Dr. Sander Scorcher, hosted by Columbia University, posting some of the fastest times and top marks in Division III this season while competing against a field featuring numerous Division I programs. Day one was headlined by Erika Ezumba, who rewrote the record book for the second straight week.

Maya Valmon recorded the sixth fastest time this season in the NCAA for the 400 meters to highlight day one at the Dr. Sander Scorcher at the Armory Track and Field Center. In addition to Valmon's efforts the Terrapins saw three additional personal bests.
