On Wednesday 18 June, the European Community of Alsace announced that it would appeal the judgment of the Administrative Court of Strasbourg, which validated the State's decision to permanently confiscate 42,000 tonnes of toxic waste in the former Stocamine mine in Wittelsheim. "No serious assessment has been made on the possibility of partial, progressive destocking," the CEA regrets.
