Italian authorities are appealing to tourists who enjoy visiting coastal areas by jumping from cliffs into the sea. Such an event could have a fatal outcome similar to that of Francesco Aronica, who died in Polignano a Mare last Sunday. While jumping, the 23-year-old Sicilian hit his head on a rock and lost consciousness. Despite efforts to resuscitate him, he did not survive.
