Jóhanna Magnúsdóttir, pastor of Vík Church, tells of an example of foreign tourists trying to enter the church to take pictures shortly before the coffin was laid. She had to disguise herself as a doorman wearing a T-shirt to push the most aggressive ones out of the church. For three years, the rescue team in Vík has been responsible for closing the road up to the church while funerals are taking place there.
