Woman Dies After Drowning In Myrtle Beach

A woman died over the weekend after drowning in Myrtle Beach. 56-year-old GeorgiaAnn McCoy was from visiting the area from Pennsylvania. On Friday, she was pulled from the water near Ocean Creek Resort after she was witnessed struggling. McCoy was transported to a hospital where she died the next day due to asphyxiation from drowning. Horry County police are investigating the incident.
