Alex Aranburu won the third stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour in Durbuy after winning in a day that met the expectations of the so-called queen stage of the race. Cofidis runner took the victory in a chaotic and very open outcome, surpassing British Lewis Askey after an intense succession of attacks and regroupments in the final kilometers.
Alex Aranburu was recently subdued to take some stage in the Itzulia and hit the stick on the out-of-home races.
The third stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour, 173 km long, started and finished in Durbuy, was dominated by Spanish. Alex Aranburu (Cofidis) emerged victorious in an explosive and spectacular finale, taking the lead.
