Tough loss in overtime at Truman State for the Panthers - Davenport University Athletics

KIRKSVILLE, Mo. — Truman State edged past Davenport 28-27 on Saturday at Stokes Stadium in overtime as the Panthers went for two in the first overtime, but fell short. Davenport jumped to an early 14-point lead in the first quarter. The Panthers were driving again in the second quarter when D'Wan Mathis was picked off and Dominic Grand returned it 73 yards for a score to cut the lead to 14-7.
