The Marine Secretariat handed over to the United States the practice torpedo located on September 15 in the waters of the Pacific Ocean, southwest of Ensenada, Baja California. The Navy noted that according to information provided by the U.S. Defense Attaché, the device belongs to the U.S. Navy and was misled during a training exercise on September 2, approximately 18 nautical miles west of San Clemente Island, California.
