Three companies face Ontario Fire Code charges after an 18-day fire displaced over 400 condo units in Thorncliffe Park, Toronto, officials said.
- A fire at 11 Thorncliffe Park Drive in Toronto, burning construction materials, started on Nov. 27, 2025 and was not extinguished until Dec. 15, 2025.
- PFC Construction Inc. and Metropolitan Toronto Condominium Corporation 956 were charged with violating the Ontario Fire Code, including failing to notify the fire department promptly.
- Over 400 units were evacuated due to high carbon monoxide levels, and some residents did not return until January 2026.
