Topshop set to return to high street at 32 UK stores
- Ahead of London Fashion Week, John Lewis is relaunching Topshop across 32 stores from February 17, with Topman in seven, Michelle Wilson said.
- After Arcadia's 2021 collapse, Topshop vanished from UK high streets but last year returned to physical retail via Liberty and John Lewis pop-ups.
- Customers can expect 130 curated pieces from Topshop, including signature denim, supported by a Piccadilly Circus takeover and Oxford Street flagship fashion-floor redesign.
- John Lewis's managing director Peter Ruis said the relaunch accelerates its fashion ambition as the John Lewis Partnership adds 14 new fashion, jewellery and accessory labels amid a £800 million long-term investment into John Lewis stores.
- For shoppers in some towns, physical access will require travel, as customers in Bradford must go to Leeds, but Topshop and Topman will also be sold on John Lewis online platforms.
