The Russian Chancellery underlined Moscow's willingness to support the negotiation process to achieve "just, political and diplomatic solutions."
In response to the US threats against Iran, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed solidarity with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araghchi by phone. "Russia supports negotiations to achieve fair political and diplomatic solutions," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement. Tehran, meanwhile, told the United Nations that it has no intention of starting "any war" but is "ready to respond."
