Director Tony Gatlif, a champion of gypsy culture with twenty films including “Gadjo Dilo”, died Wednesday at the age of 77, his family announced Friday September 4 to AFP. The filmmaker died in Arles, in Bouches-du-Rhône, from a health problem while working on a historical film project.
