Tons of invisible plastic pieces lurk in ocean water - Hawaii Tribune-Herald

NORTH ATLANTIC, JUL 10 – Nanoplastics, smaller than microplastics, total 27 million metric tons in the North Atlantic, exceeding the mass of all wild land mammals, researchers say.
