One-Year-Old Baby Fighting for Life After 'Fall From Window'

- The incident occurred at approximately 6:10pm at a flat located above the Best-One convenience shop on Woodlands Road in Twydall.
- Drivers waiting at traffic lights at the junction of Woodlands Road, Cornwallis Avenue, and Canadian Avenue jumped from their vehicles to assist the infant.
- Paramedics treated the child, "who was reported to have fallen from a window of a property", Kent Police confirmed, while detectives interview neighbors in the area.
- "Inquiries into the circumstances are ongoing," a police spokesperson said, as officers continue examining the scene behind the shop in Gillingham.
