Today in Italy: A Roundup of the Latest News on Tuesday.
Copenhagen apartment prices fell 1 percent from August to September, marking the second consecutive monthly decline, according to property site Boligsiden.
In contrast, Aarhus property prices rose 3.7 percent in the past month, representing the third-highest monthly increase since Boligsiden began tracking data in 2011.
The average cost of a square metre of property in Aarhus now stands at 50,649 kroner, illustrating the divergence from Copenhagen's declining market.
Boligsiden property economist Birgit Daetz attributed the shift to rising supply, stating, "Supply has risen significantly in 2026 and we're now seeing prices fall."
The regional divergence between Copenhagen's decline and Aarhus's record growth signals a shift in Danish property investment patterns favoring secondary cities.
