The eVitara is designed as a global electric SUV, measuring 4,275mm in length, 1,800mm in width, 1,640mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700mm. It features a 3-in-1 electric powertrain that combines the motor, inverter, and transmission into a single unit.
Maruti Suzuki has started the production of its first electric SUV Maruti e Vitara. PM Modi flagged it off from Suzuki plant in Hansalpur, Ahmedabad on 26 August. This EV will be launched in two battery packs – 49kWh and 61kWh. The larger battery variant will get a dual motor all-wheel drive setup (All Grip-e). Maruti e Vitara will give a range of up to 500 Km on a single charge and will be exported to 100+ countries including Japan, Europe.
