- To support families of 41 people who died in the September 25 stampede, Vijay will distribute compassionate appointment orders to 32 individuals across various government departments based on their qualifications.
- Laying the foundation for Evervan Kothari Footwear Private Limited at Manavasi near Krishnarayapuram, the facility will be developed with Rs 1,700 crore investment and create employment for around 13,500 people.
- Authorities deployed more than 5,000 police personnel to oversee security and crowd management. State BJP president Nainar Nagendran welcomed the employment initiative but alleged the government's timing was politically motivated.
- This visit marks Vijay's first trip to Karur since assuming office as Chief Minister on May 10, following extensive district administration preparations for the high-profile public event.
