- The Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs says it's time for Ottawa to establish a national forest fire co-ordination agency inspired by the U.S. Fire Administration.
- The proposed fire administration office could be staffed by one or two people to ensure personnel and equipment are appropriately dispersed across Canada during wildfires.
