Tim Gajser to Miss Final Rounds of MXGP Championship Due to Injury
Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Tim Gajser will not participate in the final two rounds of the FIM Motocross World Championship in Shanghai, China, and Darwin, Australia, due to a rib injury sustained at the Dutch Grand Prix.
The best Slovenian motocross rider Tim Gajser announced on Instagram that he has ended this year's season early due to injury. This means that he will not compete in the Motocross Nations Cup, which will take place in Ernee, France, on the first weekend of October.
The Slovenian motocross rider ended his season prematurely due to injury two races before the end of the World Championship. He will also miss the Nations Cup.
The umbrella association for motocross AMZS announced that Tim Gajser's decision to end the season early actually means that he will not compete in the October Nations Cup in Ernee (MxON), where Slovenia would defend last year's historic fifth place. Who will replace Gajser, or whether Slovenia will compete at all, will probably be known next week.
