TikToker Bryant Thomas Reveals His Face for First Time and Gets Engaged During American Idol Audition

On Jan. 26, American Idol season 24 premiered on ABC with auditions held remotely and at Belmont University, Nashville, Tenn., featuring contestant Keyla Richardson.
As part of the revamp, the creators added social voting and moved Hollywood Week to Nashville, showrunners said, to meet modern audiences and ease viewers into changes.
Longtime host Ryan Seacrest returns and told judges, `Welcome to American Idol University. With decades of talent on display, I'm so excited for you all to explore these historic halls,` in a prerecorded video, with Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie also back as judges.
New episodes will air weekly on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET for two hours until 10 p.m. ET, stream the next day on Hulu, and contestants will compete for spots in the Top 20.
On March 9 the Ohana Round will feature the remaining 30 singers performing before industry tastemakers including Kaniyia Brown, Terry McCaskill, Loren Gray and Cheryl Porter in Hawai'i.
