- On Saturday, Gold House held its fifth annual Gold Gala at The Music Center in Los Angeles, celebrating the 2026 Gold100 List of 100 most impactful Asian Pacific culture makers.
- This year's event theme, 'A New Gold World,' called for building shared abundance during an era of contraction while celebrating cross-industry excellence through the Gold100 and multicultural awards.
- Honorees included Simu Liu, who received the Gold Mogul award, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who was presented with the inaugural global Vanguard Award for her contributions to culture.
- Actor Simu Liu emphasized community's importance, stating, 'The only reason that I'm here is 10% being too stubborn to give up, and 90%, the most amazing support system.' Liu discussed supporting one another.
- Concluding the evening, Gold House co-founder Bing Chen noted that community building requires '1000 tiny decisions' to create lasting bonds. Over 650 guests attended the gala's afterparty celebration.
