Three women found dead on Brighton beach named as 'beloved' sisters from London
Police say there is no evidence of third-party involvement as detectives review CCTV and trace the sisters’ final movements.
Emergency services recovered the bodies of three sisters from the sea off Brighton beach on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, formally identifying them as Jane Adetoro, Christina Walter, and Rebecca Walter from London.

Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen the sisters near Madeira Drive between 10pm on Tuesday, May 12, and 5:30am on Wednesday, May 13, to contact Police via 101, quoting Operation Ledmore, serial 438.
Their father, Joseph, paid tribute to his "beloved daughters," calling them his "beautiful light" and stating their "lives ended tragically far too soon."
