Three Silicon Valley engineers charged with stealing Google trade secrets and sending data to Iran
The engineers stole hundreds of confidential files on processor security and cryptography from Google and Qualcomm, facing up to 10 years in prison per charge, prosecutors said.

- Google detected the activity through routine monitoring, revoked access in August 2023, and prosecutors say devices accessed sensitive files in Iran in December 2023, posing national security and economic risk.
