Three Peregrines fledge successfully at St Albans Cathedral as police investigation continues into trampling of first clutch of eggs

Good news! Three young peregrines have successfully fledged from St Albans Cathedral in Hertfordshire. This is the site where the breeding pair’s first clutch of eggs was trampled on in April 2025, as seen on the Cathedral’s livestream webcam overlooking the peregrine’s nest scrape, leading to a man ‘helping police with enquiries’ (see here, here and here for previous blogs).
