Three men found guilty of trafficking people from abroad and forcing them to live in squalid conditions have been jailed.

Police were called to the Cobham Services in March last year after drivers reported seeing people being transferred from lorries to vans. They found a man and a woman in the back of a lorry cab and a second man strapped into the top compartment of it. 37 year old Sebastian Haj will serve 9 months and 54 year old Nicolai Vitega and 32 year old Floris Adrian Laurus will serve a year each.
