Three men were sentenced to prison terms without parole on Wednesday at the Klagenfurt Regional Court for allegedly stealing gold worth at least €300,000 from the Infineon plant in Villach. The two Serbian and one Slovenian nationals were accused of cleaning gold-plated machine parts and smuggling some of the resulting granules out and selling them. The verdict is not yet legally binding.
