Three dead, two seriously hurt in crash in southwestern Ontario: police
Police said three SUV occupants died and two others were hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a collision with a transport truck.

- Oxford OPP responded to the crash at the intersection of Highway 59 and Quaker Street in Oxford County shortly after 3 p.m., police said in a news release.
- The transport truck driver was uninjured, while two occupants of the SUV remain hospitalized with life-threatening injuries, police reported.
- Highway 59 at Quaker Street remains closed for investigation as the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement Team continues examining the crash scene.
- Investigators are asking nearby residents and businesses to check surveillance or dash cam footage, and anyone with information can contact the OPP or Crime Stoppers.
