The Afife and Carreço area, in the municipality of Viana do Castelo, was hit by three forest fires this afternoon. According to O MINHO, the first fire started in Carreço, near the wind turbines, around 12:30 pm. Civil Protection deployed 19 personnel and six vehicles to the site to fight the flames.
